Well, I am not at liberty to say how this has come about, but I recently procured funding for a couch, a CAR, and neurofeedback.
The Couch
The couch is a one-seater and fits perfectly in my book nook. It’s amazing how much more home-like things feel now!! I was thinking back on when the last time was that I had a sofa, and I think it was 2013 when I lived in my apartment down South (unless you count the blue rubber chairs when I was inpatient for 14 months). I freaking love this thing!!
Now, silly Tannîn has been watching horror movies and he was a little nervous
…but I told him, it’s a Perfectly Normal Chair!! I don’t know where he gets these crazy ideas; he also thinks that Kitten is maybe working for Satan, but he’s just a Perfectly Normal Cat!! Behold:
Neurofeedback

The neurofeedback should also work out! It’s been a bit complicated because I started Ketamine, and once the neurofeedback office had deliberated on how to accomodate for that, the holidays hit. But, I think I should have a start date by the end of next week. If it has to be postponed a bit due to Ketamine, then I will survive. I’ve already waited three years!
The Car
Yes, the part you’ve all been scrolling for!! I have a car. I can’t even believe it. I’m afraid of jinxing myself. But, basically, after exhaustive searching, on Monday I finally scheduled a test drive. I was up all night. Then I went yesterday, all nervous that I wouldn’t remember how to drive. But I did.
It. Felt. Awesome.
It’s like I’m finally getting my life back! I used to put 20,000 miles a year on my car, and now I can finally be me again. I have so many plans. I can go to game nights, make friends, do whatever I want!!
Now, I didn’t tell the guy at the car place that I hadn’t driven since April of 2021 until, like, 80% of the way through the drive. He was very surprised and said I drove perfectly normally 😊 Yes, that’s because I practiced for hours every single day for years.
Conclusion
It has been a wonderful month! I get scared to say I’m happy because of reasons, but I actually am very happy 😊
