Well, another Christmas on the books. I’d been hoping it would go well this year. Last night my cat and I listened to the entirety of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, because my grandpa recorded it once for us on cassette and I digitized it and uploaded it to YouTube under my real name. So my expectations were up. Then this morning we made this video:
So things were okay. Then I tried to contact my sister and failed, and now I’m depressed. The people of Reddit have been very nice:

I really, really miss my grandparents. I think they would have wanted me to move on, but it’s hard because I’ve got my mother thinking up increasingly horrible things to decide she believes about me 🙄 I think in previous years, I knew in advance that Christmas would suck, and I got caught off guard this year.
Anyway. I have Sims 4 calling my name so I have to go! I’ve made it through worse Christmases. Plus I finally found a new therapist! Nothing can excuse the way my last one terminated, but I’m famous for taking lemons and making lemonade
